Consultation

Duration
1–4 weeks
Cost band
$5K–$25K USD

Strategic clarity in days, not weeks. The studio's perspective on your immersive or agentic problem, before you commit to a build.

What you get
  • Discovery interviews with the people who own the problem (2–5 sessions)
  • A written advisory brief (15–25 pages): situation, options, recommended path, what we would build first
  • 1–2 working sessions with our team and yours to pressure-test the recommendation
  • Optional async follow-up window (2 weeks) for questions after delivery
Timeline
Day 1–3
Scoping & kickoff

Align on the decision you need to make. Who needs to say yes? What evidence do they need? What does "clarity" look like at the end. Gate: a one-page decision statement we both sign off.

Day 3–10
Discovery interviews

Conversations with stakeholders, technical owners, and (where possible) the audience the decision affects. Industry context. Competitive landscape. Constraints we cannot move.

Day 10–18
Analysis & drafting

Synthesis. Option-mapping. Tradeoff modelling. A draft of the advisory brief lands with you for comment.

Day 18–28
Working session & handoff

Live working session(s) to walk the brief, answer questions, and refine the recommendation. Final brief delivered.

KPIs we instrument
Measurement policy →
KPI Method Threshold
Decision-readiness Pre/post stakeholder survey Stakeholders rate readiness ≥ 4/5 post-engagement
Option coverage Documented alternatives ≥ 3 viable paths analyzed
Time to clarity Calendar from kickoff to final brief ≤ 4 weeks
Recommendation depth Brief includes scope, cost, risk, KPIs All four named per recommended path
Ideal fit

Founders scoping a Series A pitch around immersive or agentic tech. CTOs evaluating build-vs-buy on an agentic capability. Heads of L&D deciding whether to commission an Atlas. Boards asking whether the studio's worldview fits their next move. Consultation is for teams who need to make a real decision in the next quarter and want studio-grade reasoning to bring to it.

Honest note

Consultation does not ship a built artifact. If you want a working prototype at the end, start with Atlas. If you want a recommendation you can act on (or argue with), this is the right tier.
